Die Kurzliste mit 30 Songs für „Malta Song For Europe“ wurde veröffentlicht.
Der maltesische Rundfunk meldet, dass insgesamt 129 Songs, das sind übrigens um 27 Songs weniger als letztes Mal, für die nationale Vorausscheidung „Malta Song For Europe“ eingereicht wurden. Aus allen eingereichten Songs wurde eine Kurzliste mit 30 Songs veröffentlicht. Aus diese 30 Songs werden wiederum 16 Songs für die Live-Show ausgewählt. Den Gewinner der Vorausscheidung, die im Februar 2018 stattfinden wird, wählen alleine die Zuschauer per SMS. Nur ein SMS pro Anschluss ist erlaubt.
