Valletta, Malta – Die maltesische Vorausscheidung zum Eurovision Song Contest MESC findet am 22. und 23. Jänner 2016 statt.
Der maltesische Rundfunk TVM hat aus 153 Anmeldungen die Kurzliste mit 49 Kandidaten für die nationale Vorausscheidung MESC 2016 veröffentlicht. Neben der üblichen MESC Teilnehmern, ist auch Ira Losco wieder dabei, die beim Eurovision Song Contest 2002 im Tallinn den 2. Platz für Malta erreichte.
